About the Role
We are seeking a certified Assistant Principal with expertise in literacy instruction for grades 3–5 to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven educator who is passionate about advancing student achievement, developing teacher capacity, and shaping a positive, inclusive school culture.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and strengthen literacy programs in grades 3–5.

Mentor, coach, and evaluate teachers in evidence-based instructional practices.

Use data-driven strategies to improve literacy outcomes and support schoolwide goals.

Collaborate with school leadership to foster student-centered learning environments.

Promote equity, inclusivity, and academic excellence across classrooms.
Requirements (Must-Have)

Valid NYS School Building Leader (SBL) certification.

Proven experience teaching or leading literacy instruction in grades 3–5.

Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or related field.

Experience implementing data-driven instructional strategies.

Knowledge of current literacy research and best practices.

Record of improving student outcomes in literacy.
